Dr. Brad Forster (Retired)
Certified specialist in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery
Dr. Brad Forster was born and raised on the North Shore. He studied biology at Capilano College and UBC before traveling east to enroll in Dentistry at the University of Toronto. After graduating with honors and completing an internship at St. Michaels Hospital in Toronto, he returned to North Vancouver to practice general dentistry. Two years later, he returned to Toronto to enter a residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery which he completed in 1990, and then wrote, and passed the Canadian and British Columbian Specialty board examinations.
Dr. Forster has been practicing in North Vancouver ever since, performing approximately 1,300 surgeries per year. In 2010 he became the President of the Canadian Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. When not working, teaching at UBC, or spending time with his family (his wife, 2 daughters and 2 stepdaughters), Brad enjoys the outdoors including skiing, rock climbing, and hiking.
